2020 TEENAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD
NOMINATIONS CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED
We are currently seeking nominations for our annual “Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce Teenager of the Year” award. The recipient will be selected based upon the information contained within the nomination, so it is imperative that nominations are as thorough as possible. The award is presented in memory of Norman “Big Boy” Swanner and the recipient will receive a $500 cash scholarship from the Norman “Big Boy” Fund. The award will be presented at the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet on January 14, 2021.
In addition to being a high school senior attending Thibodaux High School or E. D. White Catholic High, nominations should be based on the following criteria:
- Enthusiastic Community Service
- Dedication and Commitment to Education
- Excellence in School Pride
- Leadership Abilities
- Academically Acceptable Achievements
